Christian Matzku (50) takes over the Management of “Sales Steering” at Quality Austria

Since November 2022 Christian Matzku is responsible for the management of the department “Sales Steering” at Quality Austria, the leading contact for system, product and personal certification in Austria. Matzku has over two decades of professional sales experience with his last stop working as Sales Manager at BMW in Vienna.

Christian Matzku, who is originally from Salzburg, enhances and supports the qualityaustria Sales Team as “Head of Sales Steering” since the beginning of November 2022. Matzku follows Iris Perfler in this position, who will focus on the business and project management of Quality Austria in the future. The 50-years old is responsible for the further advancement and specialization of all classic sales activities, the strengthening of brand awareness as well as the development of sales strategies and revenue targets. He will report to Christoph Baumgartner, Head of Marketing and Sales, as well as to the CEOs Werner Paar and Christoph Mondl and will work in both qualityaustria locations in Vienna and Linz.

Matzku has a sales career of more than 20 years. Recently he was working as sales consultant for key accounts and fleet customers at the Vienna branch of the BMW group. Before switching to the automotive sector, the graduate of the tourism school in Kleßheim (Salzburg) occupied various sales management positions in renowned restaurants and hotel businesses, such as Hilton Hotels and Austria Hotels International.
