Quality pioneer Konrad Scheiber (63) hands over the management of Quality Austria to Christoph Mondl (56) and Werner Paar (49). Mondl was previously Deputy Association Director at ÖAMTC, Paar worked as Sales Strategist at BMW Group. "Austria's leading training, certification and assessment organization is in excellent hands with the two top managers," Scheiber is convinced.
The recently newly appointed managing director duo Christoph Mondl and Werner Paar will be supported by Konrad Scheiber (63) on strategic issues until the end of the year. "I am convinced that Quality Austria will continue to develop excellently in the future under the leadership of the two management professionals," emphasizes Scheiber, who has steered the fate of Quality Austria since it was founded in 2004.
Strong leadership duo
The graduate in business administration (management and marketing) Mag. Christoph Mondl (56) most recently held various positions at Austria's leading mobility club, the ÖAMTC. Before that, the financial expert worked at Ebenseer Betonwerke AG and the management consultancy Accenture.
Sales professional Dr. Werner Paar (49) was able to gain a lot of experience before moving to the top of Quality Austria at the German automotive group BMW AG: initially working in commercial dealer consultancy, he also managed the cult brand MINI in Austria, before finally becoming head of sales at BMW Group Austria. Most recently, he was able to demonstrate his strategic management skills as head of the retail business development department at the corporate headquarters.
Global presence
Quality Austria is owned by four associations (OQS, OVQ, OQA, AFQM) and was founded by these four organizations in 2004. The organization is active in the field of system and product certifications, verifications and validations, assessments, trainings and personal certifications and is a driving force for Austria as a business location. In addition, the company cooperates with around 50 partner and member organizations worldwide.
